Project Details

I’ve worked with Indiecade for quite some time now, so when they needed to overhaul the site to accommodate all their new shows and projects, I was invited to handle the re design. The brief was pretty complex this time around as the Indiecade project is now pretty huge with many events, so the new site had a lot to accommodate.

The biggest challenge was to create a design that could hold lots information in a way that was easy to navigate and expand upon. Firstly, we had to create a navigation method that would filter people to where they needed to be with as fewer clicks as possible. We settled on a sidebar navigation solution that would allow the site to filter the user through many sections in an easy to understand way. With the navigation agreed we set about creating a fluid design that could span large and small screens and showcase the wealth of activity that Indiecade has to offer. Complex but hugely fun project!
