Ok, ok, I know, this is a movie trailer, not design, illustration or animation but hey, movies inspire me in so many ways that they’ll be making regular appearances in the new blog along with the many other things that bring me inspiration 🙂 Well I guess there is a nice little bit of UI design in that telescope sequence and that was pretty neat!

Ok so, Peter Jackson’s new movie Mortal Engines has just got its first trailer and it certainly looks interesting. I loved that initial shot of the tree, pulling back to reveal the true scale of these machines! Fantastic idea. I’m not totally sold on the idea of the movie right now but Jackson rarely fails to please on that front so I’ll hold faith that this will be a triumph.
